And so begins a new chapter in my blogging.

Ok, that's a little overkill, but really, I haven't posted in a while. The postmortem of the California trip, along with the best of the photos (I took nearly 500 photos, so the best of will still be a ton of photos) will be up soon.

Yesterday was my last day at the Henderson Unit of the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield. I can tell you that because now I'm no longer employed there. When I began my employment there I was writing about my experience at work, because working with kids in that setting was very foreign to me. However, my boss found my blog and I was asked to remove the mention of the Boys & Girls Club from the blog, mostly because I expressed my dislike of a certain code that the club goes by. They could still be watching the blog, I don't know. But now that I'm out I'll be posting posthumously about my experience.

That's two death references in one post. Hmm.
